SmackDown and Raw had some exciting picks from NXT during the WWE Draft 2023. While the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were drafted to the blue brand, Raw picked the NXT Women’s Champion. With Draft 2023 finally ushering in the main roster, NXT superstars are set to make their main roster debut this week on SmackDown.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are currently the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. They were drafted to SmackDown in the WWE Draft 2023. Last week, the fans saw them make an appearance backstage at the Blue Brand. They were watching the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on television.

According to BWE, a trusted source, WWE is planning to debut Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn this week on SmackDown. The company wants to establish them in the tag team division. Without a doubt, the two superstars have impressed fans with their performances in NXT. Therefore, they are looking to dominate the main roster as well.

There have been rumors about WWE signing some big names from NXT, such as Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, and Carmelo Hayes. However, the fans didn’t see that happening. According to rumors, WWE is likely to bring these names onto the main roster after SummerSlam this year. It will be interesting to see the debuts of the NXT stars on the current roster following the Draft.

Carmelo Hayes spoke with WrestlingNews.co and stated, “I’m not saying that those girls aren’t great talents because they are, and they deserve that main roster. But I think I have unfinished business here and I think that I’m totally okay with holding it down in NXT.”

Hayes has always dreamed of being the face of NXT by being the main champion. Now that Hayes is the champion, he seems to enjoy and want to sustain it by staying on the roster as champion for a longer period of time. He wishes to defend the championship and take it to a higher level.
