The highlight of the week for boxing as well as WWE fans will be the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis. After weeks of personal attacks and buildup, Paul defeated Danis, shutting down the debate once and for all. However, following the fight, The Maverick laid out a challenge to WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

This has caught the attention of WWE fans everywhere, including Indiana Pacers’ point guard Tyrese Haliburton. While talking in the post-match interview, Logan Paul called out Rey Mysterio. The Maverick challenged the legendary luchador for a match for his United States Championship.

Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton also decided to get involved as he took to X and called out the Hall of Famer. He shared a short video, provoking the masked luchador to accept the match and fight Logan. He wrote the caption, “I know you heard Logan fam” and tagged Rey Mysterio.

This is a matchup that will be interesting to watch, as both Logan Paul and Rey Mysterio share similar skills. Paul surprised everyone with his in-ring skills and charisma. In a handful of matches, The Maverick made high-flying moves that left everyone startled. On the other hand, Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest high-flyers to ever grace the wrestling ring.

Therefore, when he got a chance to go and meet WWE superstars backstage, the 23-year-old made sure to make the most of it.

The most recent WWE premium live event, Fastlane, took place in Indianapolis, Indiana. Therefore, Tyrese Haliburton was in attendance for the show. Not only did he get front-row seats for the show, Tyrese also met his favorite superstars backstage. The biggest name he met was WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. Haliburton and WWE shared pictures from the visit.
