The WrestleMania weekend is here, and everybody is excited for action-packed matches and unexpected surprises. However, if there’s another thing that fans have always anticipated during the season over the years, it’s the stage design. The wait was over for them as WWE unveiled the stage design for WrestleMania 40. ย
WWE shared the WrestleMania stage reveal video on X, which was presented by WWE 2K24. Backstage personality, Jackie Redmond and ring announcer, Kayla Braxton revealed the stage in grand style with the help of popular Ninja Kidz’s athletic performance. The look of the set highlighted two letters, X and L, which represented the 40th iteration of WrestleMania. The Liberty Bell with sparkling LED lights was also showcased, which increased the value of the event.

WrestleMania will take place as a two-night special event on April 6 and 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The main show will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST and 4:00 p.m. PT in the United States. However, the kickoff show will take place at 5:00 p.m. EST, and this is for both nights of the show. This will be the first ever WrestleMania under the Endeavor umbrella after the WWE and UFC merged into one entity, TKO.ย
However, WrestleMania isn’t the same without celebrity appearances. This year, popular singer and rapper Lil Wayne will be in attendance for the Show of Shows and will also be present on Raw the following day. Another rapper, Meek Mill, will be opening this weekend’s event, as per reports. WrestleMania XL promises to be one of the greatest events of all time, which includes some marquee matches like the main event bout between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on night 2.
Fans react to the unveiling of WrestleMania 40 stage design on social media
WrestleMania 40’s stage design just got revealed, and it’s fair to say it got pretty mixed reactions from fans. While some genuinely expressed their excitement, others were quite unsatisfied with the effort, considering how big the event promises to be.ย

One fan was straightforward with his judgment and clearly stated that last year’s WrestleMania had a better stage design. Another fan didn’t like the design at all and said it felt like it was just another event in Saudi Arabia. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:ย
Some fans complained that the design didn’t give them a grand feeling; others were confident enough that it would look amazing with the lighting and pyros. Another fan joked about the inclusion of the Prime logo on the stage, as Logan Paul‘s hydration brand Prime signed a record deal with WWE. One user wasn’t happy with the ramp size, as he felt it was a little too small. Overall, the majority of fans felt that last year’s WrestleMania stage design was better.
