WWE Superstar Maxxine Dupri was not an in-ring competitor when she was a part of the Maximum Male Models. She was there to handle the faction’s business as the manager, but she left them to join the Alpha Academy. Now, her character is over with the fans. After joining Chad Gable and Otis in their journey, Maxxine regularly wrestled on Raw and even impressed the fans with how quickly she was learning.
However, things went a little downhill when the competition became a little tough and she started mistiming her moves. The fans also noticed a few botches by her in the matches and pointed them out on social media. On the latest episode of Raw, Maxxine was fighting Valhalla in a mixed tag team match, but she was unable to execute a move, which in the end looked awkward.
Many fans criticized her, saying that she is not ready for televised matches yet. The 26-year-old botching her moves could be dangerous for other superstars. Maxxine hasn’t done anything notable in her singles career. In fact, Rhea Ripley defeated her with ease, squashing her in two minutes a couple of months ago on Raw.
Maxxine even participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match but got eliminated in 6 minutes by eventual winner Bayley. Many fans love her character work with Alpha Academy; however, they have started noticing her mistakes during televised matches. It will be interesting to see how she takes all the criticism and continues to make a name for herself.
Fans expressed their disappointment over Maxxine Dupri’s ridiculous botch on social media
Alpha Academy trainee, Maxxine Dupri, has been facing criticism online from the fans for botching the moves repeatedly on televised matches. She was performing a maneuver against Valhalla in a mixed tag team match, and it looked awkward when she mistimed her jump.
One fan said this type of mistake on the professional level is so embarrassing to happen, while another fan said the match was tough and cringe-worthy to watch. Here are some of the top reactions from the fans:
Some fans said she should go back to her manager role and train some more before again getting back to the ring. One fan said not just Maxxine, but the other superstar involved in the match, Valhalla, was also at fault. Another fan came up with the interesting theory that this is all part of her ‘Trainee’ gimmick, that she is still learning and mistakes are bound to happen.
One fan said Maxxine and her tag team partner, Akira Tozawa, should work more on the developmental brand, NXT. Overall, the majority of the fans think that the 26-year-old is not ready for the televised matches yet, and she needs more training.
