The Elimination Chamber PLE was a night full of amazing matches. During the second match of the event, Finn Balor and Damien Priest successfully defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Pete Dune and Tyler Bate. However, after the match, Balor was seen holding his thumb, which was bleeding rapidly.

This injury left almost everyone in the WWE Universe worried and concerned. At the time, it seemed that the Irish Superstar could potentially be missing out on WrestleMania. However, now a new update has shed light on this situation, as Bryan Alvarez, while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, claimed that his thumb is perfectly fine.

And then we had Finn Balor who, at the end of the match, holds up his hand and his thumb is bleeding like crazy. And man, he sold that thing big. And we weren’t sure if he had broken his thumb or cut it open or whatever. But apparently, whatever it was, he’s alright.

Alvarez even went ahead and gave credit to The Prince for selling the thumb injury perfectly and called him an amazing seller. Balor is playing the role of snarky heel, but he is highly popular with the fans, especially going back to his days in NXT.

Back in 2016, when Balor became the first-ever WWE Universal Champion, he had to relinquish the title the very next night due to a shoulder injury. This event left many fans disheartened. Fortunately, the fans don’t have to face the same pain this time and will get to see Balor continue the story.

Will Finn Balor and The Judgment Day’s dominance continue?

Finn Balor seems to be very well set with The Judgment Day. He has even held the tag titles with Mr. Money in the Bank, Damien Priest for over 3 months now. They seem very unlikely to drop the titles anytime soon and are favorites to enter WrestleMania as champions.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio is one of the most hated heels in the company, and the type of heat he generates from the crowd makes the faction highly noticed in the wrestling community. Meanwhile, the other members of The Judgment Day are not short of success either. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley beat Nia Jax in Perth to retain her Women’s World Championship as well.

It seems like the majority of The Judgment Day will enter WrestleMania with gold around them. Currently, the faction looks very stable and dominant. It will be very interesting to see what story The Judgment Day will follow while continuing on the Road to WrestleMania.
