Update on Ticket Sales of WWE HELL IN A CELL 2022

Update on Ticket Sales of WWE HELL IN A CELL 2022

Hell in a Cell 2022 takes place on June 6th, 2022.

Hell in a Cell is one of the most sadistic and brutal concepts ever in the history of WWE. Many legendary feuds came to an end inside this hellacious structure. WWE will present this year’s Hell in a Cell from the Allstate Arena in Illinois, Chicago scheduled to take place on June 5 (actually June 6 in India). There’s still over a month left for the event to actually happen but the ticket sales for the show are doing pretty well.

According to WrestleTix on Twitter, there are currently 9,670 tickets sold-out for the event with the current opened maximum capacity of 11,431 seats. With this, only 1,761 tickets remain at this point as of writing.

The point to be noted here is that this will be the 1st Hell in a Cell event to take place in front of a live audience since 2019 cause the last 2 editions of this event took place inside of “the state-of-the-art set”- WWE Thunderdome with no live audience in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.

WWE will surely want to make Hell in a Cell a big feel event this year

Hell in a Cell
Hell in a Cell is one of the most brutal match concepts ever.

For being held first time in front of a live crowd since 2019, WWE will definitely be willing to deliver one heck of a show stacked with some of the big matches to take place inside the cell. WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns is also highly expected to defend one of his titles inside the celled-structure this year after missing last year’s show.

As just going through the name of the concept, Hell in a Cell the event is known for having some sick and brutal matches inside of that 20 feet high closed cell-structure. In the past, we have seen some of the greatest matches to ever happen in a WWE ring courtesy of this concept.

The latest grudge inside Hell in a Cell was between Edge and Seth Rollins which took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last year at Crown Jewel in October. The match received huge props from the fans all around the world with some being calling it as one of the best HIAC matches of the last decade. Even Twitter started trending for this match which said – “What a Match”.

This concept also elevated some of the superstars’ career by moulding themselves into it’s heat. Some of the legendary matches that defined a HIAC match would definitely include the likes of The Undertaker Vs. Mankind (1997), Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels (Bad Blood’04), John Cena Vs. Randy Orton (HIAC’09), Triple H Vs. The Undertaker (Wrestlemania 28 End of an Era HIAC match) and so many more.

I would like to mention a special women’s HIAC match that stole the show back in 2019, and that was Becky Lynch Vs. Sasha Banks.
