WWE is almost there for one of the most exciting weekends in recent memory. They’ll enter Montreal for two consecutive shows namely Friday Night SmackDown and the Elimination Chamber. The promotion has come up with a strong enough match card for their final PPV stop before WrestleMania. That being said, festivities will began at the Bell Centre this Friday, carrying onto the next night in the same arena.

Fans have shown some unreal interest for the wrestling weekend in Canada. As a result, both of the aforementioned shows are heading towards a complete sellout. Per WrestleTix on Twitter, WWE has opened a capacity of 14,010 seats as of now. Out of them, for SmackDown, 12,507 tickets are already out. As of writing, only 1,503 seats remain out of the current setup. If these flow away in the coming days, the production kills are expected to release some additional seats based on the local demand.

Now, as far as the Elimination Chamber goes, those numbers are slightly high. From the maximum opened capacity of 14,010 so far, 13,687 tickets are distributed, leaving behind 921 resales. Just to note, it’s going to be the first WWE premium live event in Montreal since 2009. As indicated by those staggering ticket movements, fans are genuinely hyped up for the event.

What to expect from the Elimination Chamber this year?

Going through the Elimination Chamber matches first, Austin Theory will defend his United States Championship inside that sadistic structure. He’ll look to go up against Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Montez Ford and Damian Priest. In second Chamber match for the night, six women will battle it out for an opportunity to challenge Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39. Participants include Asuka, Nikki Cross, Carmella, Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan and Natalya.

Edge and Beth Phoenix will team up to take on the villainous duo of Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. Plus, Brock Lesnar looks to humble Bobby Lashley in a grudge match. And now, the main-event will feature an epic showdown between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

With such matches on the card, the event is destined for a grand success. It would be interesting to see whether the hometown hero Sami Zayn brings back his old avatar and theme song. Montreal will pop huge if they hear Worlds Apart once again. Plus, do not be shocked if y’all see some posters in the crowd which reads, “If Roman wins tonight, we riot.”
