Recently, The Shield completed 11 years since their iconic debut in WWE. To celebrate the moment, USA Network posted a picture of Survivor Series 2012 of the moment where The Shield first appeared in the company. However, it made a huge blunder by not mentioning Jon Moxley, which led to the fans trolling them.
USA Network posted the picture of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns only while ignoring Dean Ambrose, a.k.a. Jon Moxley. They didn’t acknowledge the former WWE superstar for his involvement with The Shield. It created a mess for the USA Network, which received massive criticism from the fans.

They soon realized their mistake and subtly started praising Jon Moxley, a.k.a. Dean Ambrose. This uncanny move by the company received heavy criticism from wrestling fans, as Ambrose was one of the prominent names in the faction. They went on to reply to those who pointed out their mistake with praise for Moxley.
The Shield debuted at the Survivor Series in 2012. During the triple threat match between John Cena, CM Punk, and Ryback, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose shocked the WWE Universe. They debuted on the PLE and went on to make history together. Jon Moxley is currently working at AEW.
He left WWE in 2019 and went on to work in the Jacksonville-based promotion under the name Jon Moxley. USA Network’s mistake hurt fans’ sentiments attached with The Shield. Therefore, it received quite a backlash on the internet.

Jon Moxley is one of the most popular professional wrestlers in the world. The superstar has a massive fan following in WWE as well. After the USA Network snubbed out his name, some fans retaliated, calling them petty, while others went on mentioning Jon Moxley’s contributions to The Shield. USA Network applauded Moxley’s achievement while acknowledging the superstar.

A fan posted pages from Jon Moxley’s book. One fan even went on to blame USA Network for purposely leaving the former Shield member out of the picture. Although USA Network tried to make up for their mistake, fans didn’t stop trolling.
