So disgusted with the choices I have made throughout my life when it comes to the men I have dated that I had inadvertently allowed to drag me down to the darkest mental and emotional places, ever. Never again. It really takes its toll on your mental health, even more so when you reflect.

Sitting in an interview with the Press Slam Podcast via Wrestle Talk, Velvet Sky threw light on the reasons why “The Beautiful People” never considered joining WWE. Before dwelling on the actual reason, Sky stated that she is rather more inclined to the wrestling styles of Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling than WWE.

“This is like the million dollar question: How come the Beautiful People where never in WWE? Well, it’s because the WWE wanted to create their own version of what is already out there that they see that works. And, The Beautiful People, Angelina and I, we would never want the Beautiful People to be tainted or twisted or anything that I feel WWE would try to do to us if we were ever there. We would never be allowed to be the Beautiful People. The entrance? Forget it. We’d never be able to let the pigeons loose there. It wouldn’t work there, and like I said, they’ve created their own version of the Beautiful People, so they even knew that we worked.”

The 42-year-old stated that the company would have distorted the original gimmick of The Beautiful People. She believes that WWE would have never given them the same creative freedom they received on Impact. Moreover, she referred to LayCool, a team of Michelle McCool and Layla, and The IIconics as the rip-off versions of The Beautiful People. She believes that both the teams drew inspiration from the gimmicks of her and Love’s team.
