It happens very rarely that a current superstar associated with WWE makes any kind of appearance on another show. But recently, current WWE superstar Shinsuke Nakamura made an appearance at DDT Pro Wrestling’s ultimate party, surprising the fans attending the show.
The show’s main attraction was a wrestler named Saki Akai, who was wrestling in her last match, ending her 10-year-long career. Many superstars congratulated her on her career and wished her luck for her future, and the king of strong style was one of them.
Saki Akai has been traveling on her retirement tours for a few months. As such, this was the last match of her career. Nakamura is a legendary name in the Japanese pro wrestling industry and is an inspiration to many. Saki Akai was very emotional when she received a message from her idol. Many wrestling fans all over the world praised WWE and Triple H for letting Nakamura wish her via the video package as a gesture of kindness.
Nakamura is active in the WWE and recently had a brutal rivalry with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. They had two matches, including one Last-Man-Standing match, in which Seth came out on top. It will be interesting to see what path Nakamura chooses now.
Shinsuke Nakamura to fight Otis on next week’s Raw after his win vs Akira Tozawa
After losing the battle against Seth Rollins, Nakamura is in a new rivalry with the Alpha Academy. The 43-year-old defeated Akira Tozawa on last week’s edition of Raw. Tozawa tried to fight and even hit some of his moves, but he was no match for Nakamura, as he finished the match after hitting Tozawa with Kinsasha.
After the match ended, Chad Gable‘s friend Otis came face-to-face with the king of strong style and challenged him for the match next week. Nakamura didn’t accept the challenge and went back to the locker room. But after that, WWE officials made this match official, and now Nakamura will go one-on-one against Otis next week.
Many fans think this is all set up for Chad Gable to begin his journey once again as a top IC contender. But it will not be easy, as tough opponents like Nakamura are standing in his way. Fans might get a match between Nakamura and Gable in the future.
