“I would punch you if I could” WWE Superstar labels Vince McMahon untouchable
Vincent Kennedy McMahon famously known as Vince McMahon or Mr. McMahon is a former chairman and CEO of WWE. Vince McMahon took over the company from his father and is single handedly responsible foe revolutionising the pro wrestling industry. Mr. McMahon is the person who introduced wrestlemania to the wrestling fans all over a world, a spectacle we still enjoy 38 years after its inception. Vince McMahon is the single most influential figure not only in WWE but also in the wrestling industry. He was the main catalyst in the Attitude Era of WWE which is widely considered as the best era of wrestling in the company.
In 2022 Vince McMahon after serving as the Chairman and CEO of the company for almost 4 decades decided to voluntarily step down from the position after a $3 million hush money scandal came to light. Upon investigating it was alleged that Vince McMahon had paid off a former female talent in the company with whom he had an alleged affair as well. Following the incident and after Vince McMahon stepping down his daughter Stephanie McMahon was appointed as the interim Chairwoman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment.

Vince McMahon still holds power in the creative department in WWE
Vince McMahon after his decision recently appeared on WWE Smackdown to address the crowd and the talent, the whole segment wasn’t received in good taste and was even marked as shameful by many. Vince McMahon is a very powerful figure especially in WWE and one such incident was recently shared by WWE superstar Happy Corbin. Happy Corbin who made his debut on the main roster in 2016 ina recent interview on Out of Character with Ryan Satin described The Rock as cool and had a different opinion about Vince McMahon :
“I think people see Vince [McMahon] as your boss and he’s gonna control your future…So that’s a little more intimidating, except for when he knocked my hat off yesterday; I wanted to fight him…I was sitting down like this at the table and then I get hit in the back of my head, my hat flies off and I turn around and he’s just belly laughing at me…I’m like, dude, I would punch you if I could. Yes, yes. He knows he’s untouchable and can just mess with me.”
Vince McMahon after being relieved of his duties still holds the authority in the creative department of WWE. Happy Corbin is is reportedly set to have a feud with former footballer and team mate Pat McAfee
