The UFC and WWE merged earlier this week under Endeavor. Since then, the wrestling industry has been buzzing about the news. However, according to some reports, this week’s Monday Night Raw saw some big changes from Vince McMahon. It was the last edition of RAW before WWE’s merger with the UFC.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, creative decisions didn’t involve McMahon lately. However, Vince was in some major alterations this week on RAW. Furthermore, the executive chairman was watching the show from a creative standpoint. However, he wasn’t in attendance physically.
Moreover, according to Meltzer’s report, Vince McMahon is going to be the main person on the WWE programming team. Therefore, the show went through some last-minute changes. After the merger, McMahon will still see the wrestling side of the deal. WWE’s ownership is now under contract with Endeavor. Together, WWE and the UFC will now be TKO.
It is going to be interesting to see the programming and presentation of WWE shows from now on after the merger. According to the deal, WWE and the UFC will share assets behind the scenes. Furthermore, Vince McMahon will remain the Executive Chairman while Triple H will continue working as the head of the creative department.

In the meetings conducted for the UFC and WWE merger, Vince McMahon unveiled a custom championship belt to mark this historic moment. This moment is indeed one of the biggest moments in sports entertainment, as two sports giants merged under the same umbrella.
Triple H and Dana White were present when this brand-new custom championship was unveiled. This was to celebrate the merger. The wrestling industry highly praised the belt as it carries the prestige of both the WWE and the UFC.
The championship also features the logo of TKO. The two companies are now jointly called TKO Group Holdings. It is going to be interesting to see how this merger affects the programming of both companies in the future.
