Vince McMahon recently celebrated his 77th Birthday
Around a month ago, Vince McMahon who recently turned 77 announced his retirement from WWE leaving everyone shocked as the decision came out of everyone. Although, he left without a prior notice publicly, his ultimate end as the chairman and CEO of the company was clearly visible as there have been some serious allegations which was unveiled about Mr. McMahon by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) which initially made him to to step-down as the CEO sporadically, but as time passed more and more groundbreaking revelations came out that eventually caused his departure.
Shortly after Vince’s retirement, the company issued a press release stating that WWE will now be headed by her Daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as the CO-CEOs with Steph also being the chairwoman of the board and Paul Levesque was named as the Head of Creative with immediate effect and the WWE Universe was left elated. With Hunter at the helm as creative lead, the WWE television have seen some quality programming, great wrestling matches, exemption from heavily scripted promos and returns like Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis and more.
According to Dave Meltzer, the environment in backstage has been more relaxed than ever and the talents are really excited about what the future holds for them with the promotion. The new management have ensured to keep full transpiracy among the superstars and have made them believe about glorious dreams they can achieve in the foreseeable tomorrow.
Vince McMahon’s old ideologies were his biggest enemy
For the last three decades and so, Vince McMahon was leading the supreme authority in professional wrestling industry, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and everyone became a huge fan of his creation. But as soon as he grew older, his genius turned into his biggest nightmare and the most sad part out of all was that Vince just couldn’t realise that and the product drastically fell in the last decade as a result WWE lost millions of its regular viewers.
