It’s been a long time since Vince McMahon officially stepped down from his duties in WWE. Triple H has presided as the Chief Content Officer since then. As a result, the fans were overjoyed during that time, as most of them hated the former WWE Chairman for his bad choices. However, recent sources claim that Mr. McMahon is still interfering remotely in WWE’s creative decisions, even after WrestleMania.
Triple H has been doing a wonderful job since he took over the company. The WWE Universe has been loving and appreciating what The Game has been doing. Be it the amazing storylines, the demanded matches, or the uplifting of younger talents, Triple H has been looking over it all. Without a doubt, the WWE product has truly thrived under Triple H’s era.
Vince McMahon recently came back to the WWE picture after he announced the company for sale. It eventually resulted in a merger with UFC under Endeavor which is rumored to start in late 2023. Sean Sapp, a popular pro wrestling and MMA news contributor, stated that Vince had not given up his full control over the company even after WrestleMania.
He further stated that he had interfered and was involved in a lot of changes in the WWE creative behind the scenes. Sources reveal McMahon was backstage during WrestleMania weekend. In fact, he reportedly made some changes. The WWE roster reportedly was not happy with his involvement and their morale was too down. However, Triple H assured them of his control over the creative. They said they are more flexible in their promos in the ring than when the company was under Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon was not seen much after WrestleMania but reports suggest he has been controlling remotely. However, recently after the European tour, things did boost for all the superstars as they felt happier. The WWE roster does not like Vince and doesn’t want him to come back. Vince did realize the turmoil he has caused and perhaps the reason why he is controlling remotely now.
