Not much time has passed since an odious lawsuit was filed against Vince McMahon. Accused of s*xual trafficking, the 78-year-old business tycoon even resigned as the Executive Chairman of TKO’s Board of Directors. On the heels of vile allegations leveled against him, an old WWE segment featuring Vince McMahon is making the rounds on the internet.

An account on X named NoDQ.com posted an Attitude Era segment that underscored the lecherous aspirants of McMahon. In the video clip, Vince could be seen telling a young Stephanie McMahon that his divorce from Linda McMahon was on the precipice of finalizing. The former WWE CEO told his daughter that he’d soon marry someone who would keep up with his sexual prowess. Finally, Vince alluded to the fact that the new Mrs. McMahon will be around Stephanie’s age.

Now, of course, everything Vince McMahon said was just part of the storyline. However, one couldn’t help but imagine Vince was just being himself while portraying a villainous dad on television. The fans caught the exact same reference and emphasized it as if McMahon was just foreshadowing his future on national television.

Things went south for Mr. McMahon when he was accused of hush money allegations in 2022. More or less, it kicked off a domino effect, with the Janel Grant lawsuit being the final nail in the coffin. Even though McMahon denied anything and everything that was mentioned in the suit, he’s pretty much the culprit for the fans. His ouster from WWE’s parent group, TKO, is believed to be the end of Vince McMahon’s entrepreneurial journey.

How WWE responded to Vince McMahon’s lawsuit after the Royal Rumble?

A couple of days after Janel Grant’s bombshell of a lawsuit caused a stir in the wrestling fraternity, WWE held its 37th annual Royal Rumble event. After a record-breaking PLE, the company even held a post-show presser.

First, Cody Rhodes was asked what he thought about the allegations against Vince McMahon. In a well-orchestrated reply, Rhodes mentioned those at WWE learned about it exactly the same moment as others did.

He even went on to say that there’s certainly a black cloud over the company. But when the same curveball was thrown at Triple H, he acted out of his skin. The WWE CCO said he didn’t read the lawsuit and took a pause.

Then he used Cody’s verbatim to respond, and he circumlocuted for a minute. Drifting away from the core of the matter, Levesque affirmed that he doesn’t want to put too much weight on the negatives.
