This week’s Monday Night Raw has resolved the issue of finding a partner for Chelsea Green as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. A returning Piper Niven informed Chelsea Green that she would be the latter’s tag team partner. Piper Niven, previously known as Doudrop, was out for months before his surprise return on Raw.

Chelsea Green was teasing the idea of holding auditions to find a new tag team partner after her previous partner, Sonya Deville‘s injury. Piper Niven grabbed one of the belts, completely ignoring Green’s protests. Piper Niven’s return would definitely be a strong boost to the tag division. She had been off television since April.

Only one pair has managed to hold the championships for at least two months since the Sasha Banks and Naomi situation took place in 2022. Banks and Naomi relinquished their titles and quit WWE indefinitely. The pair had disputes with WWE Creative over their booking. Fans call the titles ‘cursed’ because they end many tag title reigns due to injury.

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven might be an uneasy tag team, but it would be interesting to see how it turns out. Adam Pearce was about to strip the titles from Green. While Green was about to hold auditions on Raw, which she had been doing on social media all day, calling it #ChelseasGotTalent. Now that Piper Niven has joined her, fans are yet to see how the new duo will impact the women’s tag division.

Piper Niven reacts to becoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion

Piper Niven became one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions this week on Monday Night Raw. Niven reacted on Twitter by posting a photo with the belt and saying that she ‘deserves it’. Niven, previously Doudrop, ditched her old persona and returned to her ‘Piper Niven’ persona in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble

Niven attacked Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who were trying to talk to Green and Pearce. She snatched one of the belts, completely ignoring Green’s protests. Their first match together has not been decided yet. Niven’s attack on Katana Chance and Kayden Carter during the segment hints there might be a possible feud between them.

Niven thanked all of her fans for their support. The duo of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven should have an interesting impact on the women’s tag division. But Chelsea Green was visibly not happy about getting a forced teammate. It will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for this new pair.
