Andrade returns at Royal Rumbel 2024

The Men’s Royal Rumble started with a bang, as the brothers Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso came out as the first two entrants. However, the fans got a bigger surprise when Andrade made his emphatic return to WWE at number 4. The whole arena was on their feet as he came in and attacked all the superstars to get a huge pop.

AEW co-owner Tony Khan had already announced that Andrade was no longer associated with the company. The move to WWE made more sense, as his wife Charlotte Flair is a mainstay in WWE. Andrade and his fellow luchador Santos Escobar also shared a moment, where Escobar tried to pair up with him in a failed attempt.

The 34-year-old was released from WWE in March 2021 and made a name for himself in its rival promotion AEW. He had a great career in NXT when he was a NXT Champion and even entered the Royal Rumble 2018.

The fans expected his return to the company at a big moment like this and he finally fulfilled the WWE Universe’s wish. Unfortunately, he got eliminated by Bronson Reed in an attempt to eliminate him. It will be interesting to see what will be his future path after the Royal Rumble PLE.
