This week on SmackDown, Matt Riddle faced Solo Sikoa in a No-DQ match. The two superstars delivered a hard-hitting match, leaving the fans on the edge of their seats. From steel chairs to a Kendo stick, Riddle and Sikoa used many weapons to inflict pain on each other. However, Michael Cole botched the finish of the match with a little tumult of words.

Ever since his return, Matt Riddle has been feuding with The Bloodline. The Original Bro faced Solo Sikoa last week on SmackDown and ended up losing. However, the two superstars once again clashed with each other this week. Riddle battled The Streetfighter in one of the grueling matches involving a lot of weapons in the ring and the arena.

However, the finish of the match has been a little chaotic with Michael Cole’s slip of the tongue. Solo Sikoa went on for his finisher, but Riddle escaped it and hit him with the “final knee”. Moreover, The Original Bro was coming to him for a collision with full momentum. Solo Sikoa encountered it and hit him with a Samona Spike in mid-collision.

However, Michael Cole botched it when he called the move “Big Clothesline.” As soon as he realized it, he covered it, saying, “Or was that the spike?” Nonetheless, the WWE Universe took quite a notice of Michael Cole’s tumultuous words. Watch the video here.

Michael Cole makes a major announcement about the WWE Draft

The WWE Draft is just a few days away, and there has been great excitement among the fans. The Draft holds great significance for the superstars, as they get to have a fresh start on new rosters. However, Michael Cole made an announcement this week regarding the WWE Draft 2023.

Cole revealed that this year all the superstars, including the NXT roster, will also be eligible for the Draft. As soon as he said this, there was great enthusiasm among the fans. Superstars such as Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, Gigi Dolin, and Zoey Stark can make a possible debut on the main roster. Therefore, the announcement from the commentary team left the fans on the edge of their seats.

Moreover, Michael Cole announced that the members of the factions could exchange their rosters as well. He teased that the members of The Bloodline and Judgment Day could be scattered across both rosters. Therefore, it opened a lot of possibilities in the Draft, leaving the fans excited.
