The father and son came to war at WrestleMania as the Mysterio family finally imploded. After months of badmouthing his father, Dominik finally got his comeuppance from Rey Mysterio at Showcase of the Immortals.

To start things off, the recently inducted Hall of Famer made a special entrance paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero. As the match began, Dominik continued to use heel tactics to get an edge over Rey Mysterio. The Judgment Day member even went so far as to throw a drink at his sister’s face while she was sitting at the ringside.

However, it was only a matter of time before Dominik got the beating he deserved. While Rey Mysterio might have held back on the road to WrestleMania, he went all out at the Grandest Stage to teach his son a lesson. A particular moment had the WWE Universe cheering with laughter as the Hall of Famer literally kicked his son’s a*s

During the match, Dominik Mysterio got stuck after missing a spear in the corner. This led to Rey Mysterio taking his belt off and spanking his son like a stereotypical parent. The moment brought joy to everyone’s faces, especially the Mysterio family, who were witnessing it all with the best view from the ringside.

LWO and Bad Bunny help out Rey Mysterio to pick up the win at WrestleMania

During the match between father and son, the latter got an assist from The Judgment Day stacking up the odds against the Hall of Famer. However, Rey Mysterio has got his own backup forces in reserve. The Master of 619 had reformed the Latino World Order with Legado del Fantasma, just the previous night who came out to help him here.

Even Bad Bunny who was at the ringside for Spanish commentary came to the aid of Rey Mysterio. After Dominik tried to use a chain behind the referee’s back, the Puerto Rican rapper snatched it from his hand, leveling the playing field. This was followed by Rey Mysterio hitting the 619 to Dominik to pick up the win. After the match, the Hall of Famer celebrated his WrestleMania moment along with LWO and his family.
