The main event of the March 4, 2024, episode of Raw saw the grueling battle between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre. The hateful yet entertaining McIntyre came out successful in his bout against The Yeet Master. However, the results say out loud that Drew won in a singles match; the actual scenario had The Bloodline being the cause of his victory. After his win, he even took down World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins to showcase his dominance in the Road to WrestleMania 40.

The show had gone off-air, leaving The Scottish Warrior standing tall in the ring. But when he was exiting through the ramp, Cody Rhodes‘ theme song hit, and he came out with a chair to attack him. A small chair shot in his stomach made McIntyre quickly leave, and The American Nightmare proceeded to the ring. Rhodes checked on his future tag team partner, Rollins, and lifted his former partner, Uso.

Three of those babyfaces stood in the ring and were cheered by the San Antonio crowd. Cody had the mic in his hands when he asked the audience whether they had a good time or not. The thunderous positive response was followed by his announcing the Main Event Uso and The Visionary. The Frost Bank Center sang Rollins’ theme and had him thank them not only for that but also for chanting Diarrhea. He later utilized the off-air moment and stated that The Rock was full of sh*t.

It was all The Prodigal Son’s tradition then, as he gave away some stuff to the sold-out crowd. Jey took out his shoes and signed them before throwing them in public. The first one was thrown by Uso himself, got blocked by the lighting ring, and fell closer to the crowd. But the second perfect throw, far away, had Seth do the honors of it. A little belt was then given to the fan dressed up as Cody with his colorful robe. To end the distribution, Seth handed over a chair to yet another little fan sitting near the barricade.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will confront The Bloodline on SmackDown this Friday

The Bloodline laid down their challenge for Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins for a momentous WrestleMania 40 match. Last week, The Rock handled the talking business and put forth the idea of siding with Roman Reigns to take down the duo of Rhodes and Rollins on Night 1 of Mania, potentially in the main event.

Seth and Cody have not quite accepted the challenge but would never decline the chance to destroy the faction. Thus, in the upcoming episode of SmackDown, both will be present in the same ring to confront the stable. The World Heavyweight Champion, who has been medically cleared, can also be seen getting physical for the sake of himself and The American Nightmare.

The rules laid down for the Mania bout offer Cody a chance to have a Bloodline-free match on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40. He would also face Reigns for his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. But the catch lies only if the babyface duo emerges victorious and gains the advantage. Otherwise, the title match would have the heel faction wreaking havoc to ensure that The Tribal Chief comes out successful.
