Tribute to Bray Wyatt (via WWE)
Bray Wyatt, who recently passed away, has left a marvelous legacy in WWE. His demise has left a void in the hearts of his fans and the wrestling industry. This week on SmackDown, WWE paid tribute to Bray Wyatt as they opened the show with a tribute segment for the superstar.
Moreover, throughout the show, WWE presented small video packages about Bray Wyatt. However, during the show, WWE was flashing QR codes on the screen to pay homage to the Eater of the Worlds in his own fashion. Each QR holds a significant moment from the career of Bray Wyatt.

1. The Wyatt Family’s debut
Windham Rotunda attempted many gimmicks before introducing Bray Wyatt to the WWE Universe. Bray formed a faction consisting of Luke Harper and Erik Rowan on NXT. They debuted in 2013 on the main roster, where they made Kane their first target. The QR here takes the fans to the first video of Bray Wyatt, where he hypes the WWE Universe about his debut.
The words and phrases used in the video are iconic, which later became the faction’s identity. Bray here talks about the analogy of people following orders like sheep. Therefore, the sheep masks are shown in the video. This video is iconic as it carries the essence of the initial stages of Bray Wyatt’s legacy.
2. Debut of the Fiend
The Fiend has been one of Bray Wyatt’s most iconic characters. His Fiend persona made his debut at SummerSlam 2019 against Finn Balor. The entrance carries the terrifying persona of Bray Wyatt, who took over the world in the next few months.
The Fiend later went on to make statements after attacking many superstars in WWE. He established himself after winning the Universal Championship. 5. The return at the Extreme Rules
Bray Wyatt was released from WWE in 2021 due to budget cuts. However, Bray made a chilling return to WWE at Extreme Rules 2022, where he shocked the world with the introduction of Uncle Howdy. Afterwards, the gimmick worked for a few weeks until Wyatt was pulled off the screen due to internal problems.
