John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Careers have always been compared with each other. Both of these wrestlers started their careers with WWE and then went on to have successful movie careers in Hollywood, with the rock being one of the highest paid actors at one point. John Cena and The Rock have together headlined Two WrestleMania events (2012, 2013) in the past and also teamed with each other to fight against other teams at Survivor Series. John Cena and The Rock have displayed a great Chemistry in the ring. Cena and The Rock both have been termed as “The face of WWE” and are also called as “Franchise Player” of the Company.

Dwayne Johnson began his career in 1996 with names such “the blue chipper”, Rocky Mavia and Flex kavana. Dwayne struggled to make his name in the company in the initial period but as he changed his name to “The Rock”, he found success instantly. The Rock’s gimmick worked and since then there was no looking back. The Rock’s Charisma, his strong Physique and towering Personality made him a huge success. The rock has also motivated and inspired people to follow their dreams by sharing his stories about struggle and depression.

John Cena made his WWE Debut in 2002 and since then he has been a huge influence on people due to his “Never Give up attitude. John Cena has also been known for his Philanthropic work and fulfilling the wishes of over 650 Children with terminal illnesses through “Make a wish Foundation”.

Back in 2018, while speaking with the Wrap, Cena had said some words of appreciation for The Rock and that he had inspired many over the world.

John had said “The Rock is in a conversation by himself. He is an anomaly, he’s done unbelievable things in the world of sports and entertainment. There is only one man even involved in that conversation and it is him, he sets the bar rather high. Its guys like that who not only work hard but use their platform. He is unbelievably gifted at using social media to spread the fact that hard work is how you achieve success,”

He added, “Hard work is also how you achieve significance. He inspires a lot of people. I don’t think he understands the depth of how much. He is someone I look up to, so if I look up to him, there’s no way we can be in the same conversation,” he said humbly. “I sat down with him and we shared a special moment long before I stepped into a ring. He gave me his time and he was very kind and candid in his conversation. It is something I will never forget.”

John Cena is set to make his comeback on 27th June on RAW.
