“You’re a s*x addict”- When Lana ditched out on Rusev to start a “smooch ludded” love affair with Bobby Lashley

Lana a.k.a Catherine Perry is the real wife of current AEW star Miro formerly known as Rusev in WWE. Today we are going to talk about one of the most controversial romantic storyline WWE has produced in the modern era. We will have to set ourselves back in 2019. The angle began when Rusev was getting continuously asked about Lana’s absence whether be it on interviews or backstage interactions and he had absolutely no answers to those asking.
On the September 30th, 2019 episode of Monday Night Raw, the Bulgarian Brute Rusev faced Seth Rollins in a singles match. The point where Rusev caught Rollins with a massive kick to head, Bobby Lashley’s music hit and he came out to much of a surprise and then he called someone from backstage. The person who came walking out shaking her curvy ass was none other than Rusev’s wife Lana. Then both Lashley and Lana locked themselves into each other’s gigantic lips making out with a juicy lip smacking smooch with a look of utter sadness on Rusev’s innocent face.
Over the next few weeks, the storyline progressed as Lana accusing Rusev to as a “s*x addict” during a King’s Court segment hosted by Jerry Lawler on October 28th Raw saying he was a man who just wanted to fu*k her every now and then being it in the morning, afternoon, in evening, in the locker room or at Wrestlemania. A month later on Raw, Lana revealed that she’s filed for a divorce with Rusev and later again went lip-locked with her boyfriend Bobby Lashley to celebrate the cause.
On December 30th edition of Raw, Lana and Lashley were set to marry each other in the ring but as we know not a single wedding on WWE television can go uninterrupted at any cost, at least not on Vince’s watch, Pal. Same was the case for this as Liv Morgan returned as a Lesbian for Lana revealing her love for Lashley’s soon to be wife. Later on, Rusev came out from the decorated props in the ring and attacked Bobby and then Morgan also swept her hands over Lana completely destroying the auspicious ceremony of the soon to be married couple.
Did this Rusev-Lana-Lashley triangle proved to be a success for WWE?
Regardless of saying, WWE had previously done way edgier storylines featuring Trish Stratus and Vince McMahon and also Lita and Edge but they tried to imitate that s*xier content from the past in the PG era which met to a surprise from many fans. Although several called the storyline to be pathetic and disparaging, WWE was clearly doing good television ratings producing those segments on air.
You can still go and check out the current YouTube figures for the videos containing Lashley and Lana making out and Liv Morgan’s bombshell return spoiling their wedding. The wedding segment did fantastic numbers on TV too for them.
