Jordan Devlin, better known to WWE fans as JD McDonagh, is an Irish wrestler who is currently signed to WWE and appears on Monday Night Raw. Before getting called up to the main roster earlier this year, McDonagh was one of the top stars on NXT and NXT UK. Since coming to Raw, Devlin has been teasing that he might join Finn Balor on Judgment Day.

Finn Balor and JD share a long history as both wrestlers come from Ireland, and Devlin was trained by Balor in his initial years of learning the ropes. McDonagh worked in various independent promotions before he was signed by WWE in 2017 as a part of their UK roster. During his time in NXT, he won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship once and had acclaimed feuds with the likes of Travis Banks, Tyler Bates, Santos Escobar, and many others.

At NXT Takeover: Blackpool, Devlin was scheduled to fight Travis Banks, but Banks was attacked before the match, making him unable to compete. Devlin was bragging about being the best Irish fighter, only to be interrupted by an unknown opponent who turned out to be his mentor, Finn Balor, who showed up to a thunderous reaction.

Therefore, since coming up to the main stage, McDonagh has been teasing that he might align with his mentor. Balor also teased a few months ago that The Judgment Day was looking to recruit some new members. Therefore, fans have been wondering if McDonagh is the new member, looking at the tensions among the current members of the group.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, The Judgment Day members faced a new challenge. Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio came down to the ring without Finn Balor. JD McDonagh interrupted the group, saying that he had a message from Balor for the group. Ripley, Priest, and Mysterio warned McDonagh to stay away from their matters.

However, the former NXT Star pointed out that they should not be worried about him, but rather about the increasing closeness between Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn. McDonagh said that they should take them down, or else that would be the end of Judgment Day. Balor had a match with Cody Rhodes later on the show.

McDonagh also faced Sami Zayn after the opening segment on Raw. Unfortunately, the Irish could not get a victory, as Zayn defeated him with a helluva kick. Therefore, fans will have to wait and watch what happens between Balor and his former student as tensions continue to rise among the members of Judgment Day.
