Logan Paul admired Dwayne Johnson as his "hero"
Logan Paul is a social media personality and a part-time professional boxing sensation. Logan’s YouTube channel has over 23 million subscribers and his following is just on insane level. He recently made headlines by signing an official contract with WWE and shortly after that he announced that he would be coming for The Miz at Summerslam. Paul teamed up with the Miz few months back at Wrestlemania and the duo defeated The Mysterios in a convincing fashion.
After the match, the A-lister turned upon his own partner delivering a Skull Crushing Finale before leaving the ring. Logan’s splendid performance in the ring surprised many as came out as one of the breakout performances falling through the event.
With the official announcement almost certain to be made in the coming days, Logan Paul will make his in-ring return to settle the dust with his former ally and now to be victim The Miz at Summerslam in three weeks time at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Logan has already started to prove a mainstream draw for WWE as his photo in which he is signing the WWE contract at WWE Headquarters in Stanford alongside Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have garnered the highest number of likes ever in WWE history after getting posted on Instagram.

What led to Dwayne Johnson distancing ways from Logan Paul after 2018 ?
Apart from being a social media icon, Logan have also received major backlash from his fans and critics in the past, the reason behind this can be dug from an incident Logan was a part of in 2018. Actually, Logan and his crew went to a forest in Japan situated near the base of Mt. Fuji to shoot for his videos. Everything was going fine until Logan shot a deceased body on his camera which led the entire social media to explode with heinous and disparaging remarks being made for the YouTuber.
Following this controversy, Logan’s longtime idol and hero Dwayne Johnson decided to diminish every memories and mentions with him as he didn’t wanted to associate himself with somebody doing deeds like that one. In an interview with ET Canada, Logan revealed that he received a phone call from her publicist saying that Dwayne had asked to delete all of the photos and videos they had clicked together in the past. He also said that he hoped their friendship will once again reconcile in future but for now he didn’t wanted to do anything with me. Here’s exactly what Logan Paul had to say,
“After Japan happened, I obviously found myself in a hole, rightfully so, that I had never been in before. Extremely low, mentally, and I got a call from my publicist, who also repped Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. She’s like ‘Hey, Dwayne has asked that you remove every video and picture that you’ve done with him. Maybe in the future the relationship can be reconciled, but for now, he basically wants nothing to do with you.’ Which I also understood. I get it. I made a grotesque error”
One could only hope that things would get better in future between these two personalities.
