WWE is all set to prepare for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. The spectacle will take place at Lincoln Financial Field and it is certain to be a huge event for the fans. Amidst the hype for WrestleMania XL, WWE has started their preparation to look for the host city of next year’s WrestleMania, and it seems they have finalized it as per some reports.
According to Vital Vegas, WWE is looking to lock Las Vegas as the host for WrestleMania 41. Traditionally, WWE announces WrestleMania during the festivities of the current year’s show. Therefore, there were only a few days left before WWE made it official. The Show of Shows will likely make its triumphant return to Sin City after almost three decades.
Besides, it was also rumored that WWE might also head to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the Grandest Stage of Them All in 2025. However, now it seems less likely. Moreover, if WWE returns to Sin City, they might be taking over the famous Allegiant Stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders. Furthermore, WrestleMania 41 is going to be a huge event for WWE, as it will follow the immense success of WrestleMania 40, which is set to feature stars like Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Cody Rhodes.
Only time will tell if WWE will return to Las Vegas for WrestleMania 2025. The last time WWE was in Sin City for the Show of Shows was in 1993 for WrestleMania IX. The show took place at the Caesars Palace, where the infamous Hulk Hogan, Yokozuna, and Bret Hart controversy took place.
WWE’s plans for WrestleMania XL might be magnificent
WrestleMania is considered as the Grandest Stage of Them All. It is known for the epic matches and stories it features. Besides, WWE gives its all to make it an extravaganza, and the same tradition is being followed this year as well. With the show just two months away, WWE is trying to make it an all-time great event.
It is sure to feature the star-studded main event of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Besides, it is all set to have Bayley going up against her former best friend, Iyo Sky. In essence, the show might also have a special appearance by The Rock as well. Moreover, as per some rumors, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso might also have their much-awaited one-on-one match at the event.
Furthermore, the show is rumored to feature an iconic match between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch. Overall, the Show of Shows in Philadelphia is set to be a generational event. It is going to be interesting to see how things will pan out until WrestleMania.
