WWE has a peculiar rule of not mentioning Sable's name in their programming, and she has kept herself distanced from the company for decades.

Sable was a big name in the Attitude Era of WWE. But ever since her release in 2004, she has maintained no relations with the Stamford-based company. Torrie Wilson stated this peculiar rule during her online poster signing. Even though The Rated-R Superstar Edge broke this unsaid rule of WWE when he mentioned her name during the recent episode of SmackDown.

Torrie was warned by WWE officials not to mention her name in her speech prior to her Hall of Fame induction. As she was about to begin her speech, they informed Wilson, “Oh, by the way, you’re not allowed to mention her name.” Torrie even jokingly stated that one has to go from Timbuktu to Minnesota to find her, as she lives a very private life away from any sort of social interaction with her former co-stars.

Sable was considered a megastar during her reign in WWE and left the company in 2004. Although her rivalry with Torrie was one of the hottest things in 2003, she has not been inducted into the Hall of Fame. It has only been known since then that she lives a private life with her husband, Brock Lesnar.

This rule of WWE was brought to light by the recent, unknowingly, mention of her name by Edge. The Rated-R Superstar unknowingly broke the rule as he mentioned how he was paired with Sable during her initial days in WWE. He was seated with Grayson Waller as a guest on his talk show during the special episode of SmackDown airing live from Madison Square Garden.

Brock Lesnar was concerned for Sable’s safety in WWE after his exit

Brock Lesnar made his exit from WWE after his match with Goldberg at WrestleMania 20 in 2004. But her then-girlfriend Sable stayed in the company for another three months and left the company. But the time period between those three months was explained by Brock in his 2011 book, Death Clutch.

The Beast Incarnate stated how he tried to take her out of the company, but she denied it. He stated that he couldn’t even force her to leave as they were not married. Lesnar stated that he hated her time in the company without him on the roster. As he was concerned for her safety within the spiteful business all on her own.

Sable then decided to leave the company in a few months and demanded a release in August 2004. Although Brock kept himself busy with NJPW and then the UFC, Sable did not wrestle anytime but had his back all the time. Even now, she spends her private life with her husband away from social media.
