“What a class act” – Wrestling fans delighted by top AEW star’s wholesome tribute to Bray Wyatt at Full Gear

Over the years, many wrestlers have unexpectedly left this world, leaving behind their beloved ones. One such name was WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. Recently, fans saw AEW wrestler Swerve Strickland pay a wholesome tribute to the deceased soul. He sported an attire, inspired by The Fiend, an alter ego of Bray Wyatt. The fans have appreciated this gesture.

The King of Swerve was recently in a Texas Death Match against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. The match took place on Saturday at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. One of the highlights of the night was the tights that Swerve Strickland wore. It had black and red stripe designs that resembled the tights that The Fiend used to wear.

Swerve Strickland posted a picture on his Instagram Story. He juxtaposed The Fiend’s picture along with his own picture from the match. It was to show the similarity between their trunks and to pay tribute to the late WWE Superstar. Strickland wrote “RIP Bray Wyatt” and paid homage.

It seems that tributes to Bray Wyatt are going to continue for as long as they should. WWE has also recently announced Bray Wyatt Legacy merchandise on their online WWE Shop. Bray Wyatt’s legacy will remain immortalized, as he was one of the most creative geniuses in the world of professional wrestling.

Bray Wyatt was last seen battling LA Knight at SummerSlam 2023. One of his most remembered segments is with The Undertaker, where he departed with some words of advice. Bray Wyatt was an unmatched talent in the world of professional wrestling. From legends to wrestling fans, many have acknowledged the excellence that he craved. It seems Swerve is someone who still misses the man who revolutionized creative storytelling. All in all, it was subtle yet a great tribute to him.

Fans are delighted by Swerve Strickland’s tribute to Bray Wyatt

AEW fans saw Swerve Strickland and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page fight inside the squared circle at AEW Full Gear. Both men unleashed their all as they battled in the gruesome match. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the tribute that Swerve paid to the recently deceased Bray Wyatt. Fans took to ‘X’ to express their delight at this gesture.

Fans were excited to spot this gesture. Many found it cool and also expressed that they wouldn’t have known unless people talked about it. Others also talked about how they interpreted it as being done for Terry Funk, but they were glad nonetheless. All in all, fans appreciated the idea that Swerve Strickland had and believed that such thinking would take him to greater heights.
