The rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura had reached its breaking point on Raw. Both superstars tried their best to end each other’s careers with vicious attacks. No one was safe during their match, not even the timekeeper.

The American Nightmare and The King of Strong Style battled each other in a Street Fight and went through hell. The match involved anything and everything, including the barricade, steel ring steps, nunchucks, tables, and kendo sticks. Cody used Nakamura’s momentum against him and sent him crashing down into the table to pick up the win.

However, the moment that caught everybody’s eye was Nakamura’s mist, but this time he missed the target, and the timekeeper had to suffer its wrath. The interesting thing was that the timekeeper, Berkley, is Cody’s cousin. The WWE Universe noticed a pattern in this rivalry, which involved Nakamura targeting the 38-year-old’s family one way or another.

With this win, The American Nightmare will now look forward to finishing the story. He has his eyes set on Roman Reigns‘ titles, but first, he has to go through 29 other superstars and win the Royal Rumble to main event WrestleMania.

During the intense match, Shinsuke Nakamura used the mist to blind Cody Rhodes, but accidentally, it hit the timekeeper, Cody’s cousin, Berkley. This incident gained a lot of attention from the fans.

Some fans took this entire incident as a joke and questioned who would ring the bell as Berkley was injured. Another fan said that Cody’s cousin should surely ask for better payment for agreeing to do this spot. Here are some of the top reactions from the fans:

Although it was a pretty serious incident, it received some hilarious reactions from the fans. One fan imagined a scenario where the mist hit Samantha Irvin, the ring announcer. Another fan compared Nakamura with Asuka, who also uses mist to blind her opponents.

Some fans joked at the possibility that a match between the timekeeper, Berkley and Nakamura, would take place at WrestleMania. While one fan claimed that’s what happens when a person takes his eyes off of The King of Strong Style.
