The Boss knows what it's like to actually play the game.

If the rumors are to be believed, there’s a better chance than ever for Mercedes Mone, aka Sasha Banks, to make her WWE return in 2024. After a report that made the rounds suggesting Mone’s creative plans with AEW have been dropped and are no longer in place, the window of opportunity has been abridged. And if that doesn’t tell anything, the 31-year-old’s latest post on X has made the wrestling fanatics go bonkers.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, The Mandalorian actress said:
Happy Happy Holidays. All I want for Christmas is Mone.Sasha Banks via X
Now, it might come across as a normal wish; however, the eagle-eyed fans on social media have spotted what Mercedes did there, and it’s been abbreviated as HHH, which of course comes out as a nod to Triple H.
As of now, she’s believed to be almost healed from the ankle injury she suffered at NJPW Resurgence back in May 2023. And even though NJPW wants her to re-sign with them, Sasha Banks is currently entertaining all options for herself. A WWE return might seem plausible. However, as per a report from Fightful Select, her asking price was way more than what Charlotte Flair was locked in for.
Apart from that, Mone recently posted some of her WWE Funko Pops on her Instagram stories. And for all the obvious reasons, the fans have started to believe that she’s coming back to the company. Everyone knows how tumultuous her WWE exit was, and it could’ve been prevented. However, that was a different regime, and at the moment, Triple H is calling the shots.
Fans are convinced that Mercedes Mone is returning to WWE under Triple H
As apparent from the comments below her post on X, the fans think that Mone’s WWE return is a done deal. It’s been nearly 1.5 years since she’s been gone. And with Vince McMahon‘s worn-out conspiracies no longer in place, Sasha Banks might be back. Following are some of the best fan reactions.
While most of the fans nit-picked that Triple H reference, some even manifested for her return at the Royal Rumble. It’s clear as daylight that either the former Women’s Champion has already inked a deal with WWE or she’s trolling real bad at this point.
