The fifth match on WrestleMania Night 2 was for the United States Championship. A triple threat bout between Logan Paul, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens was something memorable. During the build and even in the course of the match, the champion Paul was being targeted by Orton and Owens.
A few minutes into the match, Paul punched the hell out of Orton with his classic brass knuckles but still could not make it for the pin. The Viper then took the knuckles in his hand but did not punch, as he had a plan in his mind. He was going for the Punt Kick but IShowSpeed made the save for Logan by pulling him out of the ring.
Speed was being comical with his dog barks but could not actually retaliate. However, Randy did the necessary thing for Speed by making him experience the three most dangerous letters in WWE. In the first few minutes of the match, Logan was being attacked by the fans’ boos as well as by the duo of Randy Orton and Kevin.
A questionable moment arrived between the babyfaces as, finally, one of them had to pin him. A battle then happened amongst them as they chose to deal with their part of wrestling. All this drama was just to distract the challengers from Paul’s heel approach and make him win the thing at WrestleMania XL.
WWE Universe reacts to IShowSpeed’s appearance at WrestleMania XL
IShowSpeed showed up at WrestleMania Night 2 to help Logan Paul. Coming in with The Maverick, Speed was inside the PRIME bottle dressed up as a mascot. His presence was to make sure that Logan wins and retains his United States Championship at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
His motive was successful, but he was sacrificed in doing so. A devastating RKO on the announcer’s table knocked him out. WWE fans have gotten comical at this moment, as Speed himself was being a goof at WrestleMania 40. Several dog-barking voices to scare The Viper were a failed attempt, though.
Coming from this drama, Paul has still retained his US Championship at WrestleMania XL. With Kevin Owens and Randy Orton’s threats in his way, Speed’s assist did help him walk out with the title. Only time will tell what unfolds in the book of Logan after WrestleMania XL.
