Wrestlers, fans, and other personalities from the industry are coming together to mourn the death of a wrestling legend by the name of Adrian Street. He was most popularly known for his flamboyant attire and unique character work, which were ahead of their time during the 1960s and 1980s. Street was notable for his gimmick, which gave him the nickname “Exotic.”

Adrian Street was a heel for most of his career and was mated by his future wife, Linda, as they went from territory to territory. Originally from Wales, Adrian found his work and started getting over to Alabama to wrestle in Continental Championship Wrestling. His most notable work came from the 1980s, when he was at the peak of his Exotic character.

He also sang a glam rock song, which was later used as his entrance song. The song was called “Imagine What I Could Do To You.” As Exotic, Street had some notable feuds with Robert Fuller, Terry Gavin, and many others. After retiring from wrestling full-time, Street started a wrestling school in Florida for up-and-coming talent.

Unfortunately, the school was forced to close down after the damage caused by Hurricane Ivan. After multiple challenges and problems, Street did not quit his efforts and started a business. They started designing and selling professional wrestling gear through a website.

Most notably, Street and Linda were responsible for the attire worn by Mick Foley as Dude Love during his time in WWE. Street wrestled his last match in 2014, estimating that he has wrestled a total of around 12,000 to 15,000 matches spanning four decades.
