Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler squared off at SummerSlam in a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight. This was different from the usual WWE match, as there were no pinfalls and the only way to win was to either knock out or submit your opponent. It added a different flavor to the match.

The bout kicked off with stiff kicks from both women. Later, Ronda Rousey gained the upper hand as Shayna Baszler was checked in on by the medical team. Legitimate punches were thrown from both ends, signifying the intensity of their battle. In the closing moments of the match, they exchanged submission maneuvers.

The Baddest Woman On The Planet locked Baszler in the Arm Bar. Later, the Queen Of Spades reversed the move into the Kirifuda Clutch. This led to her opponent passing out, giving the submission win to Shayna. The crowd didn’t know how to react to this, as the bout was underwhelming. As some in the live audience chanted, “This is boring,” while the others sat in silence.

Whether or not this was Ronda Rousey‘s last match is yet to be confirmed. Reports in the past couple of weeks had suggested the former Women’s Champion was nearing the end of of her WWE career. Therefore, she wanted to put her long-time friend, Shayna Baszler, over. Thus, fans saw Baszler win the match against The Rowdy One.
