Main EventJey Uso is one of the most popular superstars in the whole company right now. It can be seen how over he is with the fans as his catchphrase ‘YEET‘ proves it. Recently though there was some trademark problem with ‘YEET’, for which the WWE has come up with a solution.

WWE can now use the catchphrase again, as they have solved the trademark problem. The company dropped a new blurred version of the ‘YEET’ T-shirt on WWE Shop for the time which the fans can now but it. The T-shirt is the same as before but the word is just blurred.

The whole trademark fiasco was that the catchphrase word was previously owned by an independent wrestler named Kasey Huffman. The situation became awkward as he held the rights of it since 2021. Fans though were confident that the company would soon solve the problem by buying the rights from him, and that is exactly what happened. WWE and Huffman managed to sort out a deal, and now they can use ‘YEET’ without any problem.

Jey Uso also acknowledged this by shooting a little video backstage on Raw saying It’s his YEET now. Fans are hoping Jey to win the gold in the future as he has taken the WWE Universe by storm with his great character. It looks like Jey could start the rivalry with the current Intercontinental Champion Gunther as he defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match on the latest episode of Raw.

Finn Balor took to Instagram and mocked Jey with a picture of him in a police uniform and handcuffing Jey with the text “You have YEETED you last YEET, sir”, implying that he is getting annoyed by the constant use of the word by Jey. He even wrote that his catchphrase ‘OISH’ is better than ‘YEET’. The 38-year-old himself took part in the banter by replying under his post. He commented, “Oish.. seems real.”

Their rivalry in the ring is world-renowned. Jey’s team recently beat the Judgment Day inside the unforgiving WarGames at Survivor Series. As of now, Jey is having a rivalry with Drew McIntyre as the latter brutally attacked Jey during his match against Seth Rollins a few weeks ago on Raw. It will be interesting to see at what heights these two superstars reach to destroy each other.
