After being drafted on SmackDown, the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair is considered to be the top babyface on the brand. Throughout her main roster run, she has been a fan favorite, winning hearts from the WWE Universe. Recent reports state that WWE is planning to make a character change for the current Raw Women’s Champion.

Bianca Belair has been one of the longest reigning Raw Women’s Champion. Last week on SmackDown, the EST of WWE was confronted by returning superstar Asuka. With her return to the blue brand, The Empress of Tomorrow betrayed Belair with a mist sneak attack. As a result, many fans believe it’s the perfect time for WWE to finally have a change in character for the 34-year-old.

According to Ringside News, Boozer666 stated that WWE currently has plans for a major heel turn for Bianca Belair. Not only Belair, but WWE is also planning to turn Street Profits into a heel faction. Bianca has never been a heel since her main roster debut. Whereas she was a heel during her initial days on NXT and was pretty successful in her portrayal.

The reports also stated that the heel turn is likely to happen around SummerSlam this year. The EST of WWE will continue her babyface character for quite some time. Over the course of the summer, she will undergo several changes, eventually turning heel at the biggest party of the summer. Fans believe she desperately needs a change of air.

Asuka’s attack on Bianca Belair last week has sparked rumors of her heel turn. Belair has already faced the same kind of betrayal from her partner, Alexa Bliss. Besides, the WWE Universe has started to lose interest in her. Therefore, they believe a change in character would revitalize her. Her heel turn would probably bid adieu to her iconic braid to establish her character change.
