After massive turmoil caused by the hush-money incident, former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was back in the headlines with a new one. This time, he has been accused of sexual assault and trafficking activities. While the accused remains innocent until proven guilty, WWE has already reacted to the case in a significant way. They’ve erased Mr. McMahon’s profile from the official website.

Technically, the action involved is blocking people from being able to see and access McMahon’s profile on the site. Unlike previously, where individuals could see his profile at any point, the website has now started showing a blank page.

This tumultuous incident has significantly affected the relations of the Stamford-based company. Their recent major sponsor, Slim-Jim, has halted the partnership until further notice. While WWE relatively emerged unscathed from the hush-money scandal, It seems the latest trouble is here to stay for the time being.

Update on WWE’s internal proceedings around the Vince McMahon Lawsuit

With the Vince McMahon sexual abuse lawsuit making headlines, a pertinent question remains around WWE internal proceedings. More specifically, doubts exist over the Stamford-based company’s desire to host the press conference like their usual practice after the Royal Rumble.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has revealed how the media looks hopeful and has assembled in Florida. While the official confirmation is still awaited, the growing numbers seem to affirm a positive direction. Apart from that, serious talent meetings have also happened that aim at teaching the talent to adhere to responding around the PLE and their storylines. Meanwhile, silence persisted over the future of talents like Brock Lesnar, who’s been allegedly involved.

The velocity and the reverberation from the lawsuit, as reported by Dave Meltzer, seem miniscule compared to what had happened in the earlier scandal. While it might speak of WWE’s relative ease from experience, it could even make someone like The Game, Triple H, become the receiving end of several sharp questions in case the press conference happens.
