After wishing everyone a joyous Saturday, Raw GM Adam Pearce followed it up in a bottling manner. Through a short video clip on X, he announced that he’s secured a couple of “big attractions” for next week’s Raw in Washington, DC. Having said that, the fans suddenly glued themselves to the screen to listen to who those names could be.
And then he announced a tandem of regular matches for the show. First of all, Xia Li will take on Indi Hartwell. This comes on the heels of Xia knocking out Hartwell’s partner, Candice LeRae, a couple of weeks ago. And secondly, Ludwig Kaiser goes one-on-one with Tommaso Ciampa. Last week, the DIY lost a closely fought match against The Creed Brothers following Kaiser’s sneak attack on Johnny Gargano.

In that way, both of the announced matches make sense. However, for everyone who thought that the two major attractions were going to be something like the local native, Dave Bautista, it was a total setback. Despite being too optimistic, Pearce’s promulgation at the top of his lungs disappointed many fans out there. Though he might be swerving everyone and can still turn the tables by bringing someone in, it’s looking highly unlikely.
Apart from the mammoth declaration from the Raw General Manager, Raw has a fairly loaded card. In the main event, Finn Balor and Damian Priest will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Meanwhile, Otis battles Shinsuke Nakamura in addition to The Miz vs. Ivar and Tegan Nox vs. Piper Niven. The scheduled matches have a huge potential to deliver some big-time entertainment to fans.
WWE fans poke fun at Adam Pearce for l*me Raw announcement
As soon as Pearce was done with his thing, a tsunami of fan reactions was awaiting him. The majority of those have mocked the former NWA Champion by asking where his major attractions are. Some of them even asked Adam Pearce to trade some superstars to Raw from SmackDown as the latter have reserves of star power.

A user on X even compared Pearce’s announcement to that of Tony Khan, who has a habit of overly doing them. To worsen the case, a fan even asked whether Adam is bringing Lainey Wilson over to Monday Night Raw. All in all, the WWE Universe wasn’t surprised and mocked the Raw GM instead.
There were a handful of fans who argued that it’s going to be tough for Raw in terms of countering SmackDown’s hot streak of good shows. A bunch of good folks even commended Pearce’s commitment to his role as a Raw General Manager. It will be interesting to see what Monday Night Raw has in store for this week.
