WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered a serious stroke while having lunch with his friends in Florida and was rushed to the hospital instantly following the stroke.

At the Royal Rumble PLE on January 28th of this year, Jerry “The King” Lawler made his last appearance on WWE TV. He was one of the panelists on the Royal Rumble pre-show. The King also competed in a wrestling match recently on January 21st at the age of “73.” The match was against The Beer City Bruiser at AML Acts of War Games 2 in North Carolina. Reportedly, throughout 2022, Lawler competed in 10 matches in total.
Recently, news broke about Jerry Lawler being hospitalized following a stroke. As reported by PWInsider, Lawler had been staying in his condo in Fort Myers, Florida, recently. During the day time, Lawler went out for lunch with his friends, where he suffered the stroke. As soon as he became ill, Lawler was impatiently rushed to the nearest hospital.
The news was learned by PWInsider on Monday night but was not disclosed until a tweet by Lawler’s friend Ricky Morton. Reportedly, Morton was with Lawler when the unfortunate incident took place. Morton shared his well wishes, stating, “I hope my friend is going to okay. Love you, Jerry.” However, the update on Lawler’s current health issue has not yet been revealed officially by the WWE or even by his family.
