Triple H has big plans for Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali has been a part of WWE for nearly seven years since joining WWE in 2016. However, the 36-year-old star has yet to make a significant impact in WWE.
Ali is one of WWE’s most talented and underutilized stars. While WWE does a good job of pushing several wrestlers like Austin Theory, who has the potential of someday becoming the face of the company, they overlook a lot of promising talent in the process. Mustafa Ali, is unfortunately one of them.
Recent reports suggest that the WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has big plans in store for Ali, following WrestleMania 39. According to WRKD Wrestling, Ali is set to face The Visionary Seth Rollins this week. It was also stated that the star is slated to gain some steam over the next few weeks and could get a “bigger spotlight” after WrestleMania 39.
Rollins is someone who can make anyone shine in a match with him, so this seems like a fitting opportunity for Ali to show the WWE Universe that he is still one of the most talented superstars on the roster. He was previously being used on RAW for squash matches, putting wrestlers like Omos over.
Mustafa Ali impressed the WWE Universe with a few of his banger matches when he was in 205 Live. His matches with Cedric Alexander or Buddy Murphy are some of his best matches. The WWE Universe has actually been pushing for Ali to win a championship. According to the fans, it is truly a “crime” how Ali is booked on the main roster. Ali once even asked publicly on Twitter for his release from WWE last year. His request was declined by Vince McMahon.

Triple H was criticized by fans over his booking of Mustafa Ali
Even after almost 7 years in WWE, Mustafa Ali had no major championships under his name. He is receiving more attention from the creative team, but is yet to win any meaningful matches. The 36-year old has been terribly underutilized in WWE. He was recently booked in a match against The Giant, Omos who made light work of Ali in under 2 minutes.
It was a squash match, which was supposed to make Omos look like a monster, ahead of his match against The Beast Brock Lesnar. This incident angered a lot of fans who took to social media, criticizing Triple H over his terrible booking of Ali. However, this all seems to change as it is reported that The Game has big plans in store for Ali.
He was briefly involved in a feud with Dolph Ziggler. In their match, Ali picked up the win after a rollup. However, he is yet to be involved with any major storylines. Mustafa Ali is a superstar deserving of more recognition and opportunities. What happens next, remains to be seen.
