In a recent interview, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg expressed his resentment and called out Vince McMahon for not fulfilling his promise. Goldberg, who is one of the most iconic names in WWE, has been looking for a retirement match in the company. However, recent reports suggest that WWE has no plans for Goldberg’s farewell match.
There has been a lot of turbulence in recent times regarding Goldberg’s last match in WWE. The Hall of Famer seems to be quite disappointed with the company for not providing him a farewell match. Time and time again, Goldberg has said in various interviews that there isn’t much fuel left in his tank. Therefore, he is looking to have one last match before hanging up his boots.
While speaking on “97.3 The Ticket”, Goldberg addressed the ongoing hot rumors revolving around his retirement match. He revealed that Vince McMahon shook his hands and promised to give him a proper farewell match after his feud with Roman Reigns. However, that never happened, and Goldberg expressed his indignation, saying that the promise Vince made was never fulfilled.
According to Ringside News, there have been no discussions about Goldberg in WWE at this point. Moreover, it said that the creative team doesn’t have any plans for the Hall of Famer currently in the company. Therefore, his retirement match looks distant as of now. Goldberg, whose WWE contract expired a few months ago, hasn’t been approached by the company for a deal either.
Despite seeking a retirement match, WWE hasn’t shown any inclinations towards Goldberg’s yearning. It looks like the fans will have to wait a little longer to see the WWE legend wrestle his farewell match. However, with WWE’s next PLE in Saudi Arabia approaching, the prospect of Goldberg’s return looks good. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming time.
