WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura was wandering around directionless on the main roster a few months back. However, things have completely changed since his heel turn on Seth Rollins. WWE has been putting him in the spotlight on Monday Night Raw as of late. Recently, there have been reports of the company pushing the King of Strong Style.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is quite interested in signing one of the top stars of NJPW, Kazuchika Okada. Therefore, the Stamford-based promotion wants to grab his attention through Shinsuke Nakamura, who happens to be his good friend. By giving a push to Shunsuke Nakamura, WWE wants to convey that it is in a new regime under Triple H.
WWE reportedly wants to show Kazuchika Okada that Japanese stars who can’t speak fluent English will not be treated like stereotypical children, which used to be the norm during Vince McMahon’s era. The company has been pushing Shinsuke Nakamura to set an example of the change in creative regime.
WON further said there is no indication that Okada is close to signing with the Stamford-based promotion. He is still loyal to his current promotion, NJPW, where he is one of the biggest stars. Moreover, he gave multiple 5-star matches consistently. It will be interesting to see whether WWE succeeds in its attempt to sign the top talents or not.

Stacks put up a valiant effort, but at last fell short in front of Nakamurs’s experience. The latter won the match by hitting Kinshasa. Although Stacks lost the match, he stated that he has learned a lot from him and would love a rematch with him.
I was really fortunate a year ago to work with Shinsuke. That opportunity to go in there with him and work with him so earlier in my run as Stacks - I learned a lot from him, knowledge that I've taken with me since then that's only made me better. I'd love to do it again because the Stacks that I was one year ago isn't the Stacks that I am today.Channing Stacks
