Former multi-time WWE Champion Dave Bautista is a highly accomplished veteran. He also found fame and success in Hollywood after he left WWE. However, it turns out that The Animal had a criminal past before he got all the success. Batista has revealed that he got into many problems as a youth.
He revealed in his autobiography “Batista Unleashed” that in 1989, Batista was arrested and had to spend a week in jail. He was accused of firing a weapon in an occupied dwelling. It turned out that there was no evidence, and hence Batista was released from prison after a week and the charges were dropped.
Apart from that, Batista was also arrested again for possession of drugs. The amount warranted a charge for distribution, and he was sentenced to probation and a drug program. The 54-year-old was later charged with assault multiple times. He was also accused of assault with a deadly weapon. All charges were dropped later, and Batista is an innocent man now.
The former WWE Champion has a history of crime, but he does not support any such activities now. He has a successful career now and is also expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame soon. His Hall of Fame induction was announced in 2020; however, it was retracted as Batista had other obligations at the time.

Dave Bautista has enjoyed a successful singles career in the WWE for years. Apart from winning the WWE Championship multiple times, The Animal won the Royal Rumble in 2005 and 2014. His career warrants his Hall of Fame induction. However, his singles career is not the only part of his career that deserves attention.
Batista was a part of a legendary faction called “The Evolution” along with Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton. All group members have been multi-time World Champions and had a great run during the Ruthless Aggression Era in WWE. Ric Flair is already in the Hall of Fame for his singles career and for being part of “the Four Horsemen”.
Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista have all retired from in-ring competition. Therefore, after Orton retires too, fans can expect a double induction for Batista, Triple H, and Flair. Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista will go into the Hall of Fame for their singles careers as well.
