The latest episode of SmackDown brought a lot of incredible segments and matchups for the fans. Triple H, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and LA Knight all appeared on the show to a thunderous reaction from everyone. This was also the first time Roman and Cody were on the same show after their showdown at WrestleMania 39.
Therefore, their cold-blooded face-off gave fans goosebumps. Following Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso’s match, where they defended their tag titles, Roman Reigns came out with The Bloodline. This is when Cody faced off against Roman while Jey faced off against Jimmy for the first time in months.
Therefore, it looks like WWE is planning these two matches for The Showcase of the Immortals next year. It has been rumored for a very long time that the second chapter between the American Nightmare and the Tribal Chief will take place at WrestleMania 40. Therefore, the brief face-off on SmackDown could be a tease of that.
Additionally, since Jimmy Uso turned on Jey Uso at SummerSlam, the two went their separate ways as Jey moved to Monday Night Raw. The brother vs. brother feud is destined to happen at some point in WWE. It looks like the two will face each other at WrestleMania 40 in a high-voltage clash.
The upcoming months in WWE are among their most important months. This is because the Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania are among the three biggest events the company does every year. Therefore, the matches for these events will also be among the most anticipated matches of the year.
Roman Reigns set to enter his 4th consecutive WrestleMania as champion in 2024
Roman Reigns is arguably the greatest star that WWE has seen in the past two decades. This is evident from his historic 1100+ day title reign, which might not end anytime soon. During this title reign, Roman has faced almost all the top stars in WWE and has successfully conquered almost all, continuing his reign as the champion.

During this period, Roman Reigns entered three WrestleMania as champion and managed to come out as champion as well. In 2021, the Tribal Chief faced Edge and Daniel Bryan in the main event of WrestleMania 37. He pinned both veterans together to successfully defend his titles.
In 2022, Roman Reigns conquered Brock Lesnar in what was their third WrestleMania encounter, finally ending the trilogy of their feud. In 2023, the Head of the Table faced Cody Rhodes, who was the favorite to defeat the champion and end the historic title reign. However, even the American Nightmare fell short and failed to capture the titles from Reigns.
Therefore, following the same trend, it looks like Roman Reigns might enter his fourth WrestleMania in a row as champion. He looks indomitable as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The Tribal Chief will most likely headline Night 2 of WrestleMania 40.
