The path to Omos vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania has been a bumpy one, to say the least. While some fans are looking forward to two giants colliding, others are skeptical about it. Moreover, a recent mishap on Raw might not have helped sway the people in its favour.
Last night on Monday Night Raw, The Nigerian Giant, and the Beast Incarnate got in the ring for their scheduled face-to-face segment. As the proceedings began, they got a great reaction from the crowd. The WWE Universe in Providence was even chanting “Holy Sh*t” at the sight of two titans standing side by side.
Both superstars shook hands, and this was when things heated up in the ring. Omos refused to let go of Lesnar, prompting the latter to land the first blow on the 7-foot giant. In the end, though, Omos was the one standing tall, but not before he botched throwing Brock Lesnar out of the ring, only succeeding on the second try.
The former WWE champion vividly looked pissed after he was bested by his WrestleMania opponent. However, the fans weren’t sure if this frustration was in the storyline or in reality after the botched move. To the shock of many, Brock Lesnar didn’t retaliate and made his way back, selling the effects of what just transpired.
