The fans have witnessed the completely new side of former LWO member Santos Escobar when he turned on Rey Mysterio. Unfortunately, despite adopting the new persona, he couldn’t get past Kevin Owens and become the No. 1 contender for the U.S. Title. Now, his former friend and the member of LWO Zelina Vega had something to say about his loss.

Vega took to X and trolled Escobar for his loss to Owens in the no. 1 contender tournament finals. First, she praised the Prizefighter and said he was her new favorite superstar for beating Escobar. Then she mocked the 39-year-old superstar by saying it was fun to watch him lose.

Escobar and Kevin engaged in an amazing battle on the New Year’s Revolution edition of SmackDown. Although Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo interfered in the match, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro leveled the playing field. Owens picked up the victory with a Pop-up Powerbomb and a Stunner.

The rivalry between the majority of the women superstars of the Blue brand against the Damage CTRL is getting intense. Zelina Vega always shares her opinion on X about her friends and rivals. Recently, she sent a tweet about getting redemption against Asuka.

Vega took to X and requested The SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to fight Asuka to get her revenge. She further explained the resemblance to when The Empress of Tomorrow blinded her with a mist. 

Can I just say? I’d love to fight WWEAsuka for the pure fact that she blinded me for like 3 days and completely ruined my Rengoku wig. Also, had Akaza’s colors that night.. coincidence?! I think not. RealNickAldis in the name of anime, give me some redemption.

The 33-year-old star referenced the Anime ‘Demon Slayer’, and expressed her disappointment that her vig of the popular character Rengoku was ruined by Asuka’s mist. Only time will tell whether Aldis gives Vega what she wants on the next week’s episode of SmackDown.
