Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley celebrated her 27th birthday on October 11. One of the Eradicator’s former rivals, Zelina Vega, wished her on the special occasion. However, things didn’t go as planned for the latter. During a Twitch stream, the pair had an obscene exchange of words, which shocked Vega’s husband, Malakai Black.
The LWO member posted the interaction on her Instagram account. In the short clip, Zelina Vega wishes Rhea Ripley a happy birthday in Spanish. In reply, the Women’s World Champion seemingly says a few curse words, which are bleeped out in the video. Also, Malakai Black, who was sitting next to his wife, looked in disbelief at what had just happened.
“That’s what I get for trying to be nice on Rhea’s bday. Priest and D*mb D*mb better stop teaching her Spanish,” captioned Vega. She blamed Mami’s fellow teammates, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio, for teaching the Aussie cuss words in Spanish. All in all, it was a hilarious interaction between the two real-life friends.
As many might know, the pair fought earlier this year at the Backlash PLE. Despite losing, it turned out to be one of the biggest moments of Zelina Vega’s career, receiving a standing ovation from her home crowd. Currently, she is an integral part of the SmackDown women’s roster. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley has seemingly emerged as the Judgment Day leader, calling all the shots for the past week or so.
Damian Priest addresses claims of Rhea Ripley being the leader of the Judgment Day
Judgment Day is arguably the most dominant faction in the WWE at the moment. The stable consisting of Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor is on cloud nine. Despite asserting on several occasions that there is no outright leader of the group, it seems that Rhea Ripley has emerged as one.
Recently, Damian Priest commented on the “leadership” conundrum during an appearance on The Bump. According to him, every member of the Judgment Day, aside from Dom, is a leader. “She is a leader, and I think Finn Balor’s a leader. I’m a leader. I think we all share in that leadership role, and right now, she’s just taking more of it because we obviously at times don’t act like ourselves,” added Priest.
During last week’s episode of SmackDown, Ripley negotiated an agreement with The Bloodline for a temporary alliance. Therefore, many fans believed that the Eradicator slowly staked her claim as the outright leader of the pack.
