In the world of professional wrestling, especially in the WWE, memorable moments often define the careers of its stars. In fact, the talented Zelina Vega, a 33-year-old female star, recently took a trip down memory lane to a career-defining night for her. In response to a throwback post, Vega reminisced about her unique encounter with none other than John Cena. 

The original post by USA Network was just a nostalgic throwback to the match that happened five years ago on an episode of Smackdown. The bout saw the returning 16-time World Champion team up with Becky Lynch for a mixed tag-team match.

The match was against Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas. During the match, Zelina tried numerous ways to distract the Cenation Leader, which involved Vega kicking him in the face. Vega replied to USA Network’s post, reminding everyone that she kicked the Greatest Of All Time in the face and how it made her day memorable.

Cena and Lynch comfortably won the match after the latter took charge in the match. After the battle, Becky refused to shake hands with the Franchise Player further solidifying her ‘The Man’ persona. Zelina is currently part of the Smackdown roster, where she is part of the LWO faction. Meanwhile, there are reports that Andrade could be making a WWE return soon, after his contract expired with AEW.

Andrade Almas has been at the center of headlines as of late. Amidst the rumors of a WWE return, Tony Khan mentioned that his contract is set to expire and he might leave AEW to join the Stamford-based promotion imminently.
