September 11, 2001, was a day that shocked the world. For Zelina Vega, this was one of the darkest days, as she lost her dad in the 9/11 attacks. Vega was just 10 when her father died in the attacks. Recently, on 9/11 Memorial Day, Dwayne Johnson visited Vega’s father’s memorial, to which she replied with a heartfelt message.
The Rock visited the memorial with his daughter Simone Johnson, a.k.a. Ava Raine. The Hollywood star posted a heartfelt message on X. Vega also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the Great One. She wrote, “I love you both. I could hear my dad saying, “Noooo freakin wayyyy,” followed by the most contagious laugh.”
The LWO member also thanked The Rock and his daughter Ava as she wrote, “Thank you, family.” The day of 9/11 is one of the saddest days in the history of the USA. Zelina Vega has opened up about her experience during the attacks in her previous interviews as well.
Zelina Vega is one of the most prominent superstars in the WWE. She has been highly praised by management backstage. It is going to be interesting to see the future steps of the LWO member. She looks to make a big impact on SmackDown as Vega continues her quest for some championship gold.

Vega was recently in an interview where she recalled her experience of the 9/11 attack when her father passed away. She also paid tribute to her late father. However, the highlight of the interview was her statement regarding a WWE championship.
In an interview with Busted Open Radio, the LWO member told the hosts that she believes she has to win a championship and that there’s “no reason” that she shouldn’t. Furthermore, she went on to say, “There’s just so much you ignore about other people and what they want, and I feel that if this continues that way, the decision’s going to have to be forced at some point.”
Only time will tell if the Puerto Rican superstar wins the Women’s title or not. However, the support she has been receiving from her fans has been overwhelming. It will be interesting to see the direction of the LWO member with the huge support she has been receiving from her fans.
