30-year-old Superstar requests WWE for new Attitude Era inspired merchandise

The Attitude Era is one of the most significant periods in professional wrestling history. WWE reached new heights of popularity and business that were never seen before. Therefore, fans, to this day, have cherished this time period. Recently, Zoey Stark came up with an idea for Attitude Era-inspired merchandise.

The 30-year-old Superstar took to X to post an image of the Monday Night Raw themed merchandise. The tagline for the flagship show at the time was “RAW IS WAR.” Therefore, Stark changed it to a tagline for herself instead. Moreover, she requested the WWE Shop account to take notice and perhaps develop new merchandise accordingly.

As expected, fans supported the idea of the Attitude Era-based design. Whether or not Stark’s pitch for her new merchandise comes to fruition will be interesting to see. At the moment, she is in a tag team with Shayna Baszler on Raw. On the most recent edition of the show, the duo defeated Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae.

Evidently, Stark and Baszler are eyeing a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Needless to say, their ambitions lie in wait on the Road to WrestleMania 40, as The Kabuki Warriors will most likely defend their titles at the Showcase of Immortals. Fans will have to wait and see how their future plays out.

Why is the Attitude Era is remembered so fondly?

Whenever WWE achieves a period of success, fans always compare it to the Attitude Era. After Triple H took over creative in 2022, the promotion has been experiencing a resurgence in terms of popularity and on-screen product. As a result, many have drawn comparisons to the Attitude Era. A major reason for this is the nostalgic quality of it.

The Monday Night Wars ushered in the upbringing of stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. In addition to that, the programming saw more violence and wild, unimaginative things that drew interest worldwide. In fact, the success had reached the point where WWE held 14 pay-per-views in 2000, as almost every arena would be a guaranteed sellout.

The success reached its peak at WrestleMania 17, which is widely considered the greatest professional wrestling event of all time. Therefore, it is safe to say that the Attitude Era will be remembered for years by the WWE Universe.
