WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live Results: Ridge Holland def Tray Baxter

The match started with Baxter delivering knees and kicks to Holland when the latter delivered a snowplow to get a quick win.

WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live Results: Cameron Grimes def LA Knight to become the new Million Dollar Champion

The match started with Grimes trying to apply the submission holds but Knight was able to prevent it every time. Ted DiBiase from outside helped Grimes by delivering some power strikes to Knight. The latter then fought back with power strikes of his own but Grimes countered with a cross body. LA Knight then went to the top rope and delivered a bulldog followed by the burning hammer for two close counts.

Grimes then applied the Million Dollar dream on Knight but the latter was smart enough to drive Grimes into the turnbuckle to get out of it. Knight then tried to to his championship when the referee got distracted allowing DiBiase apply the Million Dollar dream. Grimes then took over and delivered the Cave In to get the win.

WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live results: Raquel Gonzalez def Dakota Kai to retain the NXT Women’s Championship

The personal battle between Gonzalez and Kai started with the latter applying the am breaker on the champion but her power was able to life the challenger up and slam into the mat. Kai then delivered a scorpion kick followed by a crossbody to get the upper hand. Kai then delivered the Yakuza kick on the champion taking both of them outside the ring for 9 counts.

Gonzalez then fought back and delivered the Vader bomb for a near fall. She then delivered a powerbomb to Kai when the latter fought back with a sunset flip lung blower. Gonzalez then somehow delivered the chingona bomb to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live Results: Ilya Dragunov def Walter to become the new NXT UK Champion

The match started with Ilya applying a powerful side headlock on Walter when the latter fought back and pushed him out of the ring. The champion then delivered a powerbomb to the challenger on the ring apron followed by a German suplex for a near fall. Walter then applied some submission moves of his own but Ilya was able to get out of it.

The two men then started exchanging blows with each other when Ilya went to the top rope. Walter took him down with a T-Bone suplex slam for two close counts. The champion then landed a thunderous chop on the challenger which made the referee concerned over the challenger’s health.

Walter then went to the top rope for a flying move but Ilya fought back and delivered a superplex to the champ which made everyone chant for them. Walter then delivered a knee to the face of Ilya and then delivered the splash but Ilya still kicked out. Ilya then applied the sleeper hold forcing Walter to submit.

WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live results: Kyle O’Reilly def Adam Cole

First fall – Pinfall or submission – Kyle O’Reilly gets the lead with a pinfall

The match started with Cole delivering the shining wizard when KOR started going to the top rope. He went for a dropkick but Cole countered with a super kick. Cole then attempted to deliver the Panama sunrise but KOR rolled him to get the pin.

Second Fall- Street Fight – Adam Cole evens the score with a pinfall

The second fall started with Cole delivering chair shots to KOR. Cole was then set on the chair when KOR put a trash can on his face and landed a dropkick to put great damage. KOR then damaged his ribs which Cole took advantage of. Cole then used a kendo stick to take KOR down and then applied the Lockjaw sub but KOR was able to get out of it.

KOR then fight back and drove Cole knee first into the chair and then the two men started exchanging blows. Both the men the put chain around their hands and started exchanging blows with that. Cole then somehow delivered the Last Shot on KOR to get the lead evened.

Third Fall – Steel Cage match – Kyle O’Reilly won the match via submission

The third fall started with Cole using the injured ribs of KOR to get the upper hand when the latter delivered a shining wizard of his own to get two close counts. Cole then handcuffed KOR into the steel and delivered superkick when KOR applied the kneebar forcing Cole to tap out.

WWE NXT TakeOver 36 Live Results: Samoa Joe def Karrion Kross to become the new NXT Champion

Samoa Joe started the match with an enziguiri in the corner when the champion delivered the Doomsday Saito. Another Saito took Joe out which led to the challenger delivering a belly-to-belly in desperation. Kross then locked a couple a submission moves trying to take Joe out but the latter got out of it.

Kross then went to the top rope but Joe delivered him an enziguiri followed by the muscle buster to become the new champion.
